Paclitaxel Eluting Coronary Stent on Cobalt Chromium L605 Platform mounted on Rapid Exchange delivery system.
The Inspire Coronary Stent System includes loading and illusion of Paclitaxel Drug in a controlled fashion on L605 Cobalt Chromium (Co - Cr alloy) Platform, stent located on balloons catheter between two platinum iridium radio opaque markers bands. The drug is encapsulated with several biodegradable polymers and loaded on the stent through a proprietary coating technology. The Inspire is indicated for improving coronary luminal diameter in patients with symptomatic ischemic heart disease in de novo coronary artery lesion in native coronary arteries with a reference vessel diameter of 2.50 mm to 4.0 mm and a lesion length 08 mm to 40 mm. The Inspire is intended for use in patients eligible for Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA).
Innovative Hybrid Design - The hybrid design has closed cells on the edges and open cells in the middle, with S-shaped links in the open cell segment.
All Design needs one Stent - The design and CrCo material provides all intervention needs of Radial Strength, High Tissue Support, High Flexibility, Good Side Branch Access in one platform.
Perfect blend of Biodegradable polymers - Inspire has an optimum blend of Biodegradable PLLA and PDLLG polymers for controlled drug release. As the polymer biodegrades almost simultaneously with illusion of drug is completely eluted from the stent, the polymer is also gone, to leave behind a bare metal stent with Excellent Safety profile and minimum risk of stent thrombosis.
